E-mails and formats
The system supports all three known formats for e-mails: 1) Multi format which includes both a HTML and a Plain Text version of the email (and the recipients e-mail client will automatically detect which one to show). This format is recommended by Newsmailservice.com. 2) HTML format which only includes a HTML version of the e-mail. Subscribers who are only able to read Plain Text messages will have problems reading this e-mail format. 3) Plain Text format which includes only a Plain Text version of the e-mail. Can be read by everybody. |
If you send using the Multi format you do not need to worry: The recipients e-mail client will automatically display the Plain Text version of the e-mail and hide the HTML. If you send using only the HTML format the recipient might see either a lot of HTML code or nothing at all. |
Simply use the Multi format when you send e-mails to your subscribers because this format will automatically include both a HTML version and a Plain Text version of the e-mail. The subscribers e-mail client will then display the correct version. |
